J&B Scotch Whisky

J&B's history really began after Alfred Brooks bought into the business of Giacomo Justerini, a wine merchant in Pall Mall, London in in 1831 and renamed it Justerini and Brooks.

In the 1930s, J&B Rare as we know it today was born. It was created primarily for when Prohibition in the United States was lifted to give Americans something palatable after all the illegal moonshine they had been drinking.

Each time you sip J&B Rare, 42 different whiskies pass through your lips. They are carefully blended together to create a subtle, smooth and complex flavour. In 1962 J&B Rare was introduced to Spain and it grew to become their No. 1 selling whisky. It took off in the USA in 1963 and since then, sales have gone through the roof.

By 1970s, J&B Rare was established in Asia and has since maintained its position amongst the top 5 selling Scotch whiskies in the world'.
