30ml lime juice
3 tsps. sugar
Splash of soda water

A modern variation of the classic Mint Julep, substituting whiskey for white rum. The Mojito has become more of an International success commercially than its predecessor which was better known from the Mississippi and the Southern States of America.  
Dissolve sugar and rum until sugar is dissolved, then add mint and muddle until oils are extracted from the leaves.
Fill with crushed ice and stir until glass is frosted.
Splash in some soda water.
